Rebecca Veeck's Legacy ... Rebecca Veeck was diagnosed with Retinitis pigmentosa at the age of 5. Years later, her family would learn the real cause of her blindness: Batten Disease, a rare, incurable nervous system disorder. It claimed her life in September. She was 27.
