While it’s not the road I took yesterday, I COULD LEARN SOMETHING FROM THIS NEW PATH. And given the choice of being stuck in a tough place when the world is forcing me to change - or trying to move forward, I WANT TO KEEP MOVING!
It’s during these times of crazy uncertainty that I need to remember: I HAVE A CHOICE IN HOW I REACT TO THE UNKNOWN. I can lose hope and tell myself one negative story after another, becoming paralyzed in the process. Or I can thoughtfully move forward one step at a time and face what’s on the other side of that detour sign with, at the very least, an open mind.
